Nespresso Bountique (The Mall at Cribbs Causeway) - Bristol, South West

We are genuinely unhappy with the sales team at the Cribs Causeway, Bristol shop. They manage to upsell us a machine the new type capsules one when we clearly came for a replacement Classic Machine and capsules. Unfortunately, we could not taste the New capsules' coffees as the bar is closed during covid. -fair enough. But it ends up that the new machine doesn't really cover our needs (short ristretto/20ml) that the Classic Machine covered perfectly once set up for it. Much more importantly, we much prefer the classic coffees in the classic capsules (the new capsules offer significantly different blends). Upon returning the new machine a couple of days later, the team didn't want to accept the return as their store policy, and it took +25 minutes to talk to the manager finally, after discussing with an assistant going back and forth (while she was very friendly, she could not do anything but ask every question to her manager) Anyhow, we now have a machine we are unhappy with, with coffee we dislike and we feel absolutely let down by the team who was so lovely on the first visit then completely turn upon our second visit. Upon calling customer service, we are offered a £45 coupon for a new Classic machine if we buy 300 classic capsules. Not very helpful when we just got a new top of the line machines and capsules. We're very not happy with this purchase and overall experience at Cribbs Causeway's Nespresso store. Nespresso, I'm afraid you have now lost a + 14-year custom.
